Chicken Permission 🐓
Written by: Delta
This one’s for the times I just can’t decide,
When dinner calls but i dont want a guide.
Just herbs, some heat, and intuition —
A little love makes my chicken permission.
Pound out a chicken boob or thigh,
Mix the flour with herbs — don’t ask why.
Maybe some thyme, rosemary, oregano, chilli flakes,
Use your heart to measure — give or take.
Coat the chicken in the flour,
Now it’s time to make the wet batter.
Eggs and garlic, whisked just right,
Dip it again and coat it light.
Then toss in breadcrumbs — crunchy with every bite.
Whip out the pan and pour in the oil,
Toss in the chicken and let it broil.
If it’s not cooked through, that’s alright —
Chuck it in the air fryer ‘til golden and bright.
Just before it’s done, take it off the heat,
Pour on some sauce and cheese — a tasty treat.
When the cheese is melted and perfectly served,
Your chicken permission’s ready and deserved.
